COMPOSTED COTTON BURRS

INGREDIENTS

  • Cotton gin by product
  • Hardwood sawdust

APPLICATIONS

  1. Used primarily to enrich existing soils for planting either grass or shrubbery.
  2. Especially useful for preparing beds for color changes.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. For new plantings, apply 2 to 3 inches of Composted Cotton Burrs and mix 6 to 8 inches deep.
  2. For color changes, add 1 to 2 inches and work into top 4 inches of soil.
  3. On existing shrubbery, apply 1 to 2 inches above root zone and work into soil. Apply mulch if desired.
