INGREDIENTS
- 4 parts -
Medium aged pine bark mulch with nominal sizing from 1 1/2” and
down.
- 3 parts -
Composted Peat Replacer—see Composted Peat Replacer spec sheet.
- 3 parts -
Horticultural sand—a naturally occurring sharp sand from Big Sandy,
Texas.
- 6 lbs/cy
- dolomitic lime
- 2 lbs/cy
- Ammonium sulfate 21-0-0
APPLICATIONS
- A complete
soil mix for flower beds, shrubbery beds and tree planters.
- Can also
be used as a soil amendment where both sand and organic materials
are needed to amend existing soils.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove undesirable
soil to a depth of 6 to 18 inches depending on required rooting
depth. Backfill with Vital Earth Bedding Soil.
- After planting,
fertilize with Carl Pool’s 13-13-13 or Colorscape following recommended
rates.
