INGREDIENTS
- 5 parts - Medium
aged pine bark mulch with nominal sizing from 1˝” and down
- 5 parts - Vital
Earth Rose Peat Compost—see Rose Peat Compost spec sheet
- 1/2 part - Horticultural
sand—sharp sand from Big Sandy, Texas
APPLICATIONS
- A complete soil,
primarily designed for container grown roses in one gallon pots and
up. Reduces fertilizer leach in container grown plants.
- Also used for building
and renovating rose beds.
- Can be used as
a soil amendment for a wide variety of woody ornamentals. Ready Rose
Mix will break up clay, add soil absorption, and provide essential plant
nutrients.
INSTRUCTIONS
- When building a
new bed, replace top 6 inches of soil with Ready Rose Mix. Till sub-soil
to encourage proper rooting. Best results are obtained when used with
Carl Pool’s Acid Rose Food at a rate of one cup per medium size rose
bush.
- When used as a
soil amendment, simply mix 50/50 with existing soil.
