Harvest date:  mid-October

Vitazyme application:  Vitazyme at 12 oz/acre directly on the seeds at planting along with the starter fertilizer.  At early bloom, 6 oz/acre was applied foliar along with Growers 10-20-10.

Vitazyme application:  Vitazyme was applied to the soil and foliage at 13 oz/acre on July 17 (early bloom)

Control: 2,005 lb/acre
Vitazyme: 2,109 lb/acre

Income increase:

+$55.12

Fertilization:  In 1997, 0.5 ton/acre of chicken manure plus 8 tons/acre of composted leaves were applied to all areas of the field.  200 lb/acre of a 2-4-2% N-P2O5-K2O organic starter (with gypsum) was applied at planting.
