Increase in Income:

+$69.30/acre

Fertilization:  200 lb/acre of 21-0-0-24 (S) % N-P2O5-K2O, 150 lb/acre of K2O (as KCl), and 5 lb/acre of boron were applied and incorporated in all areas.

Vitazyme application:  on the seeds before planting with a 5% solution, and on the leaves and soil at the early boot stage using 13 oz/acre

Silage yield:

Control: 3.5 tons/acre
Vitazyme: 4.0 tons/acre
(+14%)

 

Income increase:

+$30/acre

Fertilization:  crop residues and regrowth as green manure, and 1 qt/acre of Soil Tec humic acid
